L.C. ART

Primarily I am a painter, but I often like to incorporate mixed media and collage in my work. My art is abstract, both figurative and non-representational, with emphasis on mark making. My aim in all my art is to show my hand, and for viewers to be able to understand the process that took place within the piece. As well I attempt to use as few tools and brushes as possible. I use my hands to create most of my work or find other materials such as paper, my body parts, fabrics, sponges, knives, and hair combs for paint application.
