So grateful to check out a powwow today, surrounded by my loved ones 🪶. I ran into the group from the Canadian Armed Forces who I taught Cultural Awareness Training to in July, and their class is graduating next week. They asked me to come to the graduation 🥹.

It’s like I was right where I was supposed to be 🪶

Went on a catamaran on Lake Superior today 🛥️🌊 for a work retreat/team building event.

When I’m home, I can feel my ancestors, I can feel the land 🌲🌳 and water 🌊. It’s truly an unexplainable feeling, to listen👂& feel the spiritual presence of my people, in the streets, in the air, on the land.

I am truly proud 🥹 to be an Anishinaabe-kwe 🪶, a First Nations woman, & to come from Northwesten Ontario. I will protect & love 💓 my home with my whole heart 💜 just as my ancestors before me 💗💙

Very fortunate to do the work that I do 💻👩🏽‍💻. It’s been another crazy busy week. I’ve been traveling non-stop but I also fit in some time to go go to Toronto to see a concert 🎶 to see A7x last night!! It’s my partners favourite band 🎸 so he officially turned me into a fan 😅😂🎸🤘🏾
