I’m a facialist with a passion for helping people feel confident in their own skin.

For me, skincare isn’t about chasing perfection or following every trend. It’s about understanding your skin, treating it with care, and creating healthy, lasting results that fit your lifestyle.

I believe every face tells a story, and every skin journey deserves a personalised approach.

✨ WHY I BECAME A FACIALIST

My journey into skincare didn’t begin in a treatment room it began with my own skin.

I’ve lived with eczema for as long as I can remember. It meant years of painful flare-ups, cracked, fragile skin and constantly trying to manage breakouts on my hands, behind my knees and inside my elbows.

After the birth of my first two children, my eczema became worse than ever. There were days when it genuinely felt as though I was allergic to everything… even water.

Desperate for answers, I sought help from a homeopath and immersed myself in learning everything I could about skincare. I became fascinated by ingredients, understanding what helped different skin concerns, and discovering that healthy skin isn’t about one miracle product, it’s about understanding the whole picture.

Then, in 2022, I lost my dad.

His passing completely changed my perspective. It made me realise how precious life is and how important it is to spend it doing something that truly lights you up. It took months to find the courage, but I finally decided to train as a facialist.

I truly believe we can turn our pain into purpose, and that’s how Face Lounge was born.

Today, I speak to women every day who suddenly find themselves struggling with their skin. Whether it’s after having children, during perimenopause, after years of hormonal contraception, or for reasons they simply can’t understand, so many are left feeling frustrated, confused and like they’ve lost confidence in their own skin.

That’s why my approach is different.

I don’t just look at what’s happening on the surface. I want to understand why. Together, we’ll look at your skin, your lifestyle, your routine and your goals to create a plan that combines effective homecare with professional treatments.

Most importantly, I want every client to feel seen, heard and understood. Because I’ve experienced the frustration, the confidence knocks and the feeling of not knowing where to turn. (Continued in comments)

Had a flurry of new followers recently so thought I’d re-share and bit about me, how I landed here in the world of all things skin and how I can help you!

Hi, I’m Loren 💚

The face behind Face Lounge, a mum of 3, and someone who’s always believed that feeling confident in your skin can make such a difference.

My own journey with eczema is what led me into skincare. After years of trying to understand my skin, I trained as a facialist because I wanted to help others feel comfortable and confident in theirs too.

Alongside running Face Lounge, I also have a degree in Early Years and have worked part time for the NHS for the last 7 years. (yes, a bit of a career change!), I’m a chronic overthinker, and in my spare time I love catching up with friends, coffee dates, long walks and days out with my husband and our 3 children 🥰

Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or you’ve only just found my page, thank you for being here. I can’t wait to get to know you all better and share more about skin, treatments, and the person behind the business.
