It’s tempting to create a beautiful display of your makeup and brushes, but your makeup brushes are the perfect magnet to dust, and there is nothing worse than spreading dust and germs on your face every day.

So, my advice, keep you brushes in a bag or tin - anywhere the dust can’t get too! And don’t forget to wash them regularly - your makeup will go on much better if you do!

As we head into the busiest part of the year, it's been a great time for me to sit back and reflect on the clients that I have worked with in the past; from brides to mother-in-laws, groups of girls off to prom, to ladies who just want to feel special for an upcoming event.

Listen ladies (and gents!), hair washing is a faff, and there are some days when you just can’t be bothered. And that’s ok! Even more so now with the incredibly range of dry shampoo out there! A quick spritz in the roots and you’ve gained an extra 24 hours at least since that next wash!

My favourite? The Weekend Hair by Joyce. It’s’ lightweight, leaves your hair feeling lovely and soft, and best of all it smells great!

Top tip, when using dry shampoo, a little goes a long way and give it a minute to work and show noticeable results.
