Here I performed effleurage movements to calm the nervous system and knuckling to improve circulation.

I then used a gua sha for lymphatic drainage, facial cupping to further improve circulation; drain more lymphatic fluid and mildly stimulate collagen production 🤍

Skin prep for extractions -

A combination of exfoliating acids are used topically to help remove dead skin cells, even out skin texture and tone, soften pores and brighten the skin.

Steam is applied to help increase circulation, boost hydration, increase absorption of product and helps to cleanse the skin deeply.

A gauze soaked in desincrustation lotion is applied to the skin to help soften the pores and help prep the skin for extractions.

Hot towels are applied right after to further help with absorption of product and to relax the client 🤍

Step 1 to the Nüwa Custom Facial - The double cleanse✨

Why should anyone double cleanse?
Let me tell you.

The first cleanse should be done with an oil based product. This is done to superficially cleanse the skin from makeup, water resistant SPF and any build up that has accumulated on the surface of the skin.

The second cleanse is done with a waterbased cleanser to give the skin a deep cleanse and to prep the skin for the following application of skincare without stripping the skin and ensuring the pH is still balanced.

The double cleansing system is the most efficient way to ensure your skin is clean, prepped and ready to receive all that goodness you’ll apply to your skin after 🤍
