Dear Nubian Goddess Hair Studio Family,

I would like to sincerely apologise for the silence over the past few weeks. Nubian Goddess Hair Studio is currently closed and on hiatus as we take time to get the business back in order.

This has been a very difficult season, and as of early January we lost our business space, which forced us to temporarily close our doors. I take full responsibility for not communicating sooner. This period has been overwhelming, and finding the right words was not easy.

To our loyal clients, thank you for your patience, support, and understanding during this time. It truly means more than you know.

I am actively looking for a new premises and have set April as our intended reopening period to avoid making promises I may not be able to keep. Updates will be shared with our clients and on all social media platforms as soon as there is progress.

🇳🇦 | The Namibian judiciary reached a historic milestone earlier this week with the announcement of Justice Esi Malaika Schimming-Chase’s appointment as the first woman to serve permanently on the Supreme Court and were love to see it! 😍👏🏽

The landmark appointment was confirmed by the Office of the Judiciary, with President Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah formalizing the decision following a recommendation from the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

Justice Schimming-Chase’s appointment will take effect on 1 March 2026. She currently serves as a Judge of the High Court and has been acting on the Supreme Court bench since April 2023.

Prior to her elevation to the judiciary, Schimming-Chase built a distinguished career as a member of the Society of Advocates, where she practised from 2003 to 2021.
