⚪️ Father’s UK birth certificate (original)

⚪️ Baby’s Birth Certificate (PSA original)
⚪️ Baby’s Philippine passport (original)

Additional supporting documents requested (in our case, after another 8 weeks)

Passport approved: July 31, 2026
Passport printed: July 31, 2026
Passport delivered: August 7, 2026

Waited almost 5 months. 😮‍💨

Here’s some tips:

⚪️ If ever you will be in need of the documents you sent to HMPO, you can request them to be delivered back as long as the scanning process has been done.

⚪️ Don’t use Viber Out when trying to book for your interview appointment (it won’t really connect you). We spent 9 hours of calling and none of it was ever connected. We raised a complaint to HMPO and it prompted them to call us instead just to secure a slot for the interview.

⚪️ During your interview. They would like you (British parent) to be in a room / place just on your own.

⚪️ Interview questions are mainly about your personal background, your wife / partner, and your baby. Don’t stress about it.
