Final updates on Akobo Battle!
The battle of Akobo has claimed the lives of Major General and Brig. Generals in the ranks and files of SSPDF. Namely;
1- Major Gen. Lero Okot who was recently promoted to the rank of Major General shortly before his demise
2- Brig. Gen. Santino Riak Athian
BREAKING NEWS
The saviors of the Akobo war, most of whom are Dinka, including one who shot and killed people yesterday in Likuangole, have been killed—about 40 in total. A few survivors, along with another group that was supposed to go to Akobo, have refused to go. They have left Likuangole and are heading to Juba.
According to my informant, they are following updates on my page and will keep you all updated.
As I said, many Dinka, mostly from Bahr el Ghazal, who are being forced to fight what they call a senseless war, have refused. They are demanding that Kiir send his own family or pay them heavily. Some are now joining their comrades who have mutinied outside Juba.

🚨 BREAKING: : This morning, Anyuak terrorist operating in Iteng and Abol Woreda has severely attacked Tharpam Refugee Camp, Gambella--Ethiopia.
Gambella, 24 December, 2025. Report indicate that scores of refugees reported killed, tents and houses were burned down. We condemn this heinous atrocity in the strongest terms.
We urge; United Nations, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR Ethiopia, Ethiopian Human Rights Commission, Human Rights Watch to take swift, bold and decisive action to protect refugees and hold the perpetrators from the Anyuak terrorist group accountable as soon as possible.
This is what Museveni and his fellow criminals are doing to the people of Uganda. Earlier this week, the military attacked and vandalised our office in Gulu City. This morning, they deployed goons who started beating up our people. In the afternoon, they raided the venue for our campaign rally, beat up our people, vandalised our sound system, and stole several items. Those beaten include one of our drivers who is yet to regain consciousness.
As we approached Gulu City, these criminals in police and military uniform attacked us with sticks and stones and started beating up our people. One of the thugs hit me with a stick on the face. Dan Magic was hit on the head. Several comrades are hospitalised. All this because Museveni is dead scared of the people. NO AMOUNT OF BRUTALITY WILL SAVE HIM FROM AN INEVITABLE FALL. NO AMOUNT OF BRUTALITY WILL STOP THE PEOPLE OF UGANDA FROM FIGHTING FOR THEIR FREEDOM.
