Between the three of us, there’s a lot happening inside our little Cleveland salon.

Grey blending.

Treatments and basin rituals.
Reiki.
Sound healing.
Breathwork.
Women’s circles.
Workshops.
Retreats.
The occasional tarot or oracle card pulled between clients.

And a whole lot of normal life happening in between.

Mystic Tide has never really fitted neatly into one box.

It’s a hair salon.

It’s a healing space.

It’s a place where you can come in dressed up and ready to chat, or completely cooked and wanting a silent appointment.

You can work from the chair.
You can tell us you cut your own fringe.
You can admit you used a box dye.
You can change your mind.
You can ask questions.
You can swear.
You can cry.
You can laugh so hard someone has to stop doing your eyeliner… actually, wrong industry, but you get the point. 😂

There’s no expectation to arrive as the polished version of yourself.

Everything we’ve added to Mystic Tide over the years has come from one pretty simple intention:

To help people feel better.

Sometimes that means fresh hair.

Sometimes it means an hour where nobody needs anything from you.

✨ SHE DID IT. TIFF IS OFFICIALLY A SENIOR STYLIST ✨

Today is ALL about this woman.

After years of training, learning, growing, pushing herself and working her absolute ass off, Tiff has officially completed her apprenticeship and is now a fully qualified Senior Stylist. ✂️

And I cannot even explain how proud I am of her.

An apprenticeship is a huge commitment. It takes years of showing up, constantly learning, being assessed, building skills, building confidence and putting in a hell of a lot of work behind the scenes.

And Tiff has done exactly that.

Watching her grow into the stylist she is today has been pretty special.

She has found her confidence, developed her own style, built beautiful relationships with her clients and become such an important part of Mystic Tide.

She LOVES what she does, and you can see it in her work. Give her a blonde, a vivid, a big colour transformation or a bouncy blow-dry and she is absolutely in her element.

And we also need to give a HUGE shoutout to her incredible TAFE teacher, Helen.

Helen has worked tirelessly alongside Tiff for years, supporting her, teaching her, encouraging her and helping her get everything finished and over that final line.

There are people who come into your life through study or work who end up becoming such an important part of your journey, and Helen has absolutely been one of those people for Tiff.

So today we are celebrating SENIOR STYLIST TIFF. 🥂

No more apprentice title.
No more counting down modules.
She did it. 🙌

And a little “did you know?” to finish this story…

Tiff and I actually worked together over six years ago.

Back in 2019, I was the senior stylist at the salon where she started her apprenticeship, and I was there and first signed her up.

Our paths went in different directions for a few years, until somehow they came full circle and she ended up back working beside me at Mystic Tide.
So getting to see the girl who started her apprenticeship all those years ago become the Senior Stylist standing beside me today 🥹😭

Congratulations Tiff.
You worked your ass off for this.
You earned it. And I am so proud of you.
Now go enjoy never being called an apprentice again 🥂🎉

As the space starts to grow, I’ll be sharing more about the different practitioners, offerings and humans making it their home.

First up… meet Bel from Emjay Wellness ✨👇

One of the things I’ve been most excited about with Mystic Tide Soul Space is watching it slowly become more than just a space for my own circles, workshops and healing.

The intention has always been for this little space to grow into a home for different practitioners, different modalities and different ways of supporting people.

And now that’s starting to happen. 🤍

So over the coming weeks I’ll be introducing you to some of the beautiful humans and businesses working from within Soul Space, starting with someone who has been here from the very beginning…

You know when you’re tired in a way sleep doesn’t fix? You’re overwhelmed, burnt out, moving through big life transitions, your skin’s gone rogue, your body is complaining, your brain won’t shut up, and you’ve reached the point where you don’t even know what you need anymore?

That’s usually a pretty good time to see Bel.

She works with the whole woman using an inside-out, bottom-up approach. Skin therapy and Dermalux LED, nervous system and somatic work, hypnotherapy, holistic counselling, intuitive energy work and spiritual teaching.

Because sometimes what’s showing up on the outside has a lot going on underneath it too.

And because her work touches the whole person, all you have to do is turn up. Come as you are. No censoring yourself or pretending you’ve got your s**t together. All parts of you are welcome here.

You don’t need to arrive with yourself figured out. That’s kind of the point.

Bel is based right here at Mystic Tide Soul Space in Cleveland, with online sessions available too.

This was a literal “just trust me” moment… and she actually did. 😂🌈
No inspo pic. No colour instructions. Just complete trust and permission for me to PLAY.
And this is what happened.
Her beautiful natural smoky silver with these little hidden flashes of rainbow peeking through underneath and dancing through the fringe. Colour that doesn’t scream for attention, but absolutely refuses to be boring.
And it suits her SO well.
She is such a beautiful, colourful soul, and I swear this hair just radiates her personality. Fun, bright, a little unexpected and completely her.
