What a great day of learning with Holly and Delorenzo education, we learnt new placement of foils, new techniques and new formula’s to make your blonde pop or more of a lived in blonde ( low maintenance).

💚 Sustainable Sunday ♻️
Thinking of having a big chop? Why not donate your hair. You can donate your hair as long as it’s over 20cm long. We put the hair in lots of plaits and send them off to Sustainable Salons for the cancer council ponytail project.
At least 4000 ponytails are needed each year to make enough wigs for those living without hair as a result of a medically induced hair loss conditions.
Fun Fact: hair is the second fastest growing tissue in the body! So start growing those locks to donate 💚💚
Three mistakes ruining your blonde ✨
1. You’re over using your blonde shampoo💜 Try using a blonde conditioner instead it’s not as pigmented and more softer on the hair. If you are using blonde shampoo make sure you put it through the ends first.
2. Not using heat protectant 🔥! This is something so common we see in salon. This is a non negotiable everyone should use a heat protectant it’s keeps your colour for much longer.. by not using it you are stripping out your toner.
3. Using the right shampoo and conditioner is so important. It maintains the health and condition of hair. And with blondes we know how dry and brittle it can make the hair by not taking care of it 💖
A great session with Maree from Delorenzo learning how to use the scalp camera to identify what is happening with your scalp. From dry to oily we learnt some great information to help you with any scalp concerns. It was great to see our scalps up close to see if we had too much oil or if our scalps needed more moisture. We have the cameras so if you would like a close look at your scalp to identify your concerns let us know. ✨
