Come exactly as you are. 🫶🏼
No need to arrive calm, centred or put together.
Just come.
Meet yourself where you are.
Soften.
Breathe.
Become present.
Melt a little.
Rest a lot.
We Yin by gentle candlelight as the sun sets outside, moving slowly into the body and giving the nervous system somewhere to land.
Then we drink tea together before you journey home, climb into bed and hopefully sleep very, very deeply. 🌙
My Yin schedule is changing soon, so if you’ve been wanting to join me on a Tuesday evening — now’s your chance.
Tuesday 5.30–7pm · Bilinga
Come as you are.
Leave a little softer. 🤍

Do you love…
pottery, slow connection, reflection, intention, Yin, tea, cacao & really good nourishing food?
Oh. Same. 🌹
Come spend Sunday afternoon with us.
We’ll sip, shape clay with our hands, gather in circle, move slowly, rest deeply and share a warm bowl of nourishment as winter comes to a close.
TENDING THE VESSEL

A little sacred pause 🕯️
Tuesday Yin is resting for now
as I tend to the vessel, too.
Next gathering —
Tending the Vessel
Sunday 30 August 🤍
There’s a light inside you that is unchanging.
Sacred.
Bright.
Tender.
Creative.
Fierce.
Wild.
Alive.
Your inner sanctum.
The part you hide.
The part you protect.
The part that has always known.
This is your truth.
Your beauty.
Your flame. 🔥
In two weeks, we gather to sit with that flame —
and tend to the vessel that carries it.
We ceremony with cacao + blue lotus tea.
We shape clay vessels with our hands.
We sit in circle.
We pray.
We soften into Yin.
We listen.
We remember.
And we finish together, nourished by homemade soup. 🤍

There’s a little sanctuary hidden amongst the lush tropical gardens of Tallebudgera Valley… 🌿
And this Sunday, you’re invited to disappear into it for a while.
Two slow, spacious hours of Yin Yoga with me, breakfast beneath the trees, then a guided soak with Jess at .
Warm water.
Bare feet.
Deep breaths.
Unhurried time.
A morning devoted to the art of doing less — softening the body, quietening the mind and remembering how good it feels to simply be.
Join us this Sunday, and the first Sunday of every month.
Come as you are.
Leave a little softer. 🤍

I’ve tried on a lot of identities in this lifetime.
The one trying, like all of us, to make meaning of this strange and beautiful experience of being human.
And labels have never really suited me.
Even the ones I’ve chosen for myself.
Today I sat with an old friend I hadn’t seen in 18 months. We had both lived through difficult chapters that, for a time, pulled us apart. And somewhere in the softness of being together again, we spoke about God.
I told her there were moments I thought I had moved far away from God.
But looking back now… I realise I never did.
Perhaps we never can.
Because maybe God was never confined to the places we were taught to look.
Maybe God is in the ocean, the trees, the body, the stranger who says exactly what your heart needed to hear.
In synchronicities that make you laugh.
In integrity when no one is watching.
In forgiveness.
In awe.
In the quiet peace of living in alignment with who you really are.
My Christian walk taught me many things, but two that remain non-negotiable: relationship and peace.
These days, I’m less interested in naming God, and more interested in relationship with the mystery itself.
Because no one thing is it.
No word can hold it. No tradition can own it. No single doorway can contain something infinite.
And yet there are so many doorways.
Prayer. Nature. Music. Silence. Love.
And sometimes… a candlelit room and a yoga mat.
I even struggle with what to call the classes I teach.
“Tantra Yin” is just a pointer.
We slow down. We stay. We meet sensation. We learn that intensity doesn’t always mean escape — and that wisdom is also knowing when to soften.
We meet the small fires on the mat, so we can meet the bigger ones in life with more presence.
And underneath it all, it’s simple:
A candlelit room.
Beautiful music.
Stillness.
Breath.
A place to stop performing life and actually inhabit it.
A space to meet your own heart.
And me, nearby, probably getting too excited about the playlist. 😇
You don’t need yoga to find God.
You don’t need me.
You can find that place in the trees, the ocean, a song, a prayer, a kitchen dance, a held hand.
But I do believe that when we get quiet enough…
we touch something.
Ancient. Tender. Familiar.
Something that feels like coming home.
Closer to ourselves.
Closer to God.
Closer to this wild privilege of being alive.
So… after all of that…
Come to Yin tonight!! 😂
I really love teaching it.
There’s space in the candlelight tonight, and you can bring a friend for free.
Come exactly as you are.
We’ll breathe. Move. Be still. Listen.
And maybe remember something we already knew.
Immense love,
Av xx
Every Tuesday.
The candles are lit.
The music begins.
The bodies arrive.
We breathe.
We soften.
We move.
We become still.
We arrive.
We remember.
And for a little while,
there is nowhere else to be. 🕯️
If you’ve found yourself wearing the same oversized jumper three days in a row, making endless cups of tea, cancelling plans, staring at the ocean a little longer than usual, or wondering why you’ve been feeling so tender lately…
Perhaps it’s not you.
Perhaps it’s winter.
And perhaps your body is simply asking to be held.
This Tuesday evening, the candles will be lit & heaters on in my little studio in Bilinga for 90 minutes of Yin Yoga & Somatic Meditation.
A place to stretch the places that have become tight from holding it all together. A place to breathe a little deeper. To remember that we were never meant to do life entirely on our own.
If you’ve been feeling stressed, inward, disconnected, overstimulated, lonely, or simply in need of a soft place to land, consider this your invitation.
Expect gentle movement, long-held supported shapes, meditation, beautiful music, and a nervous system that may finally whisper, “Thank you.”
You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need to be spiritual.
You don’t even need to have your life together.
You just need to arrive.
