JOI Pure aromatherapy products are created in purpose-built premises set amongst natural bushland in the picturesque locale of Brigadoon in the hills of the Swan Valley, Western Australia. The JOI team are committed to providing a pure, natural and organic range of skin and body products that use only the finest of ingredients from nature's generous garden All ingredients contained in our formulations are certified organic unless unobtainable in this form. All JOI Pure products are carefully prepared in small quantities to ensure optimum quality, freshness and effectiveness of each product and to avoid the use of strong toxic preservatives. Where possible all products are packaged in recyclable dark glass to maintain the integrity of the natural ingredients and to assist in the preservation of the precious environment we live in. Director of JOI Pure, Nicole Stewart, discovered her passion for aromatherapy whilst working as a Registered Nurse in England in 1990. Upon her return to Australia and inspired by the holistic healing power of pure essential oils, she commenced her study in Aromatherapy. As her knowledge and interest in the field grew, she was disenchanted to discover the number of companies and products that were marketed as "aromatherapy" that had no aromatherapeutic qualities or values whatsoever and in fact manufactured products that contained a myriad of harmful chemicals including synthetic fragrances. This prompted Nicole to begin researching the true benefits of essential oils in relation to skin care. In 1996 she began developing the JOI range of PURE aromatherapy products. The philosophy behind this development was to provide a truly genuine range of natural plant and aromatherapy-based skin care that was free from harmful chemicals, was affordable and that contained pure, active ingredients that actually worked. This passion, vision and determination has seen Nicole establish her well respected skincare and spa range JOI Pure, whilst raising her 5 children with husband Rosco on their beautiful property in Brigadoon. Importantly, this achievement has been made without compromise at any level of the company's mission, founding principles or ethical beliefs.
