🌸 Are you currently going through, or have you been through, the Family Court system?

I’m putting out a little expression of interest to see if there are women in our local community who would benefit from a Women’s Support Circle. 💕

A safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to come together, share, be heard, receive gentle support and connect with other women who may truly understand some of what you’re going through.

I’m a Qualified Holistic Counsellor based in Shailer Park, with extensive lived experience navigating the Family Court system and the complexities that can come with it.

I’d love to give back to our community by creating a space that reminds women:

THE HORSE OF A THOUSAND SPIRITS

At the edge of the sleeping prairie,
where the moonlight touched no ground,
a horse emerged from the darkness
without a hoofbeat or a sound.

His body was woven from butterflies,
blue as the deepest midnight sky.
Each one carried an ancient memory,
each wing held a soul that could fly.

The elders said he came at twilight
when the veil between worlds grew thin,
to gather the dreams of the forgotten
and awaken the strength within.

He ran across the sacred earth,
yet left no footprints in the sand.
The wind moved softly through his mane
like an old and unseen hand.

Some butterflies carried laughter.
Some carried prayers and pain.
Some were spirits of the departed
returning with the summer rain.

The horse never feared their leaving,
for he knew what the heart must learn:
nothing born of love is lost,
and every spirit will return.

When he reached the distant mountains,
his body scattered into light.
A thousand wings rose toward the stars
and vanished into endless night.

But one blue butterfly remained,
resting where an old fire burned.
It whispered to the waiting earth
the truth the ancestors had learned:

“Freedom is not leaving home,
nor escaping what has been.
It is carrying those we love
wherever the soul has yet to journey.”
