GIRL STOP ✋

Summer is the most fun time to be a blondie, but it can be the most damaging time if you’re not careful.

☀️OVER-WASHING: Summer be sweaty, but the more we wash our strands (& heat style it afterwards) the more we dry it out. Try braids & other protective up-styles or dry shampoo to stretch an extra day in between washes

☀️POOLS: literally don’t get your blonde in them! IF YOU GOTTA, wet your hair with a bottle of water & slather the cheapest conditioner on before securing with a claw clip or braid. Make sure you rinse your hair after!

☀️ SPF: Avobenzone is great for your skin, not great for blondies. It can permanently stain the hair, so I would grab a broad spectrum without it.

☀️SUNBURN: We can’t bleach a burnt scalp. If you can stay in the shade, wear a hat and apply spf to your hairline & part if your out all day
