I blink in the Summer is gone. Been wonderfully engaged looking after our curling athletes both recreational and professional and getting them ready for the season.

No robbery here! My table has been on the move! Bring on the season it is already begin. Excited to enjoy it with you all

The countdown to ice time is over and there’s a lot of exciting work happening to make sure this season is the best one yet! 🥌

As you gear up for the upcoming events in just a few weeks, I wanted to reach out.

As a Sports Massage Therapist in the Edmonton area and Team Therapist for Team Kevin Koe, I understand the physical demands that come with our sport.

Transitioning from off-season conditioning to intense competition can bring about those initial aches and pains during your first events.

With a home-based private practice conveniently located near the Saville Community Sports Center, I will be available for massage appointments before, during and after competition.

Kelowna Curling Club - Part 2 - Summer Spiel!

Another jammed packed curling weekend full of fun, laughs & shot making with my Crew!

Managed two games before being sidelined. However, my lead role shifted to full on cheerleading, drink delivery & on ice encouragement!

Thanks to Jock Tyre & your amazing Staff for your fantastic ice, your non-stop hospitality & making sure that we were all well fed & well watered! 🍺🍷🥌 👍

So many years at Camp....this was my 12th?

My yearly holiday is Camp & most recently adding the Summer Spiel.

My heartwarming constant & the reason for my repeated return is my Four Foot Coaching Staff who has become a part of my curling family.🥰

They all kindly donate a part of their summer to share their expertise with all the Campers.

New friendships & laughs always show up.😆

Our celebrity coaches Kevin Koe & Matt Dunstone brought their personalities & the wealth of their curling careers to share. A once in a lifetime experience!

I always learn something new and this year was not any different, however, I did have a wee bit of an adventure with switching sweeping positions and in falling my broom decided to as a weaponize itself on my rib cage.

Needless to say, bruised perhaps a cracked ribs have been the aftermath along with a nice shiner on my elbow. Although laughing hasn't helped, and like I am going to stop...my mishap did not stop me, I gained a couple new nicknames, right Justin Nillson? & there was not anything that would have stopped me from enjoying another Camp to the fullest.

I am still smiling & breathing. I didn't bust anything as far as I know.

Did some self "rehabilitation".

Xrays to rule out any unseen issues followed by chiropractic care happens tomorrow.
