Many of you have asked "What's Jenn up to?". Well, I won't be bored 😜
I have joined a team with Alberta Health Services that I am very excited about.
I have also joined the Nutrition Travel Exchange Program where I will be traveling to Mexico and Dominican Republic to share the love of nutrition at several all inclusive resorts (tough job but someone has to do it). 😄
I will also continue to be an advisor in Paterson Consulting Inc.

Last night we had the privilege of attending the Root Cellar Food and Wellness Hub Dinner In The Garden event. Despite the rain, and the garden dinner having to be moved indoors it was such as heart warming and inspirational evening. Special guests, live music, friends (and new friends) and incredible food.
Melissa Mullis and the team at the Root Cellar have their heart and soul invested in the success of their amazing programs. They serve thousands of Hatters every month on a one-to-one bases as well as through their programing.
They supply food for the many hot meals that are served in our community and prepare 1500 Bag Lunches Monday to Friday for schools across our community (all packed by volunteers).

The evening included a tour of the facility as well as the garden space. The garden is absolutely spectacular and is available to all to pick fresh produce.
The 5 course meal was prepared by professional Sysco chefs. It left our bellies full (maybe too full) and our hearts even fuller.

The goal this year of the dinner was to raise money for a warehouse expansion as they are BURSTING at the seams and they need more storage space to keep the foods that are donated and purchased so that they can keep serving our community.
Please, if you have the funds to go towards an incredible cause, consider donating the the Root Cellar Food and Wellness Hub warehouse expansion.
My heart is full from an incredible evening and knowing our ticket money went towards a wonderful cause.

Thank you for the past 7 years as a Registered Dietitian in private practice.
I am very grateful for the people that have crossed my path, the incredible testimonies of success and the gift of being a woman in business. It has been full of ups and downs including incredible professional and personal growth.
