No Choice Cuts For Men

Just so all of my wonderful clients know. I am no longer open on Sunday or Monday afternoons. Unless of course you beg pathetically and call me first and then I will decide accordingly. Other than that, you might try bribery. Sucking up is usually enough though. And you don’t have to be a regular client to have this work for you. New clients are welcome to suck up also or bribe me. 

Remember that I’m leaving for Los Angeles on Sunday, 21 December. I will be gone for likely three weeks. If you need your Christmas haircut, you only have four more days for me to fit you in. Call or just walk in. I’ here from 10:00 am until4:30 pm or whenever you stop walking in. Saturday ismy last working day .


Good morning everyone. Today is the beginning of Christmas coffee and German Christmas cookies. The shop is decorated in its finest Christmas attire from Stuttgart Germany where I did my 4.5 year apprenticeship to receive my degree as a certified master barber in 1970.

I will be open on Sunday’s and Mondays from noon until 4:00 until Christmas. Come and have coffee and cookies while I prattle on and on about how wonderful I am and tell you all about how wonderful your hair will look when I’m done.

You will either love me or think I’m crazy and run out screaming but I promise it will be the best haircut you’ve ever had no matter how you react to me. Telling me to shut up and cut or constantly look at your watch it will only make it worse. That’s when I kick into my lecture on never doing that to any barber you go to because it guarantees that you pull them right out of there zone and now all they can think about is hurrying and not your hair. Ha ha ha you and I will have so much fun.
Hurry in. I do walk ins and you won’t be paying 50.00 for a haircut exactly the way you want it.

Hello, my wonderful Clients. Letting you know that I am open tomorrow from 12 o’clock until 4 o’clock. So you can still get in that Thanksgiving haircut before you go for dinner with your family and friends. Happy Thanksgiving and just give me a call or just drop in after lunch from 12 o’clock on .

So won’t be answering my phone till I’m back. You are welcome to walk in at noon.
Those drops are killers and take forever to wear off.

If anyone needs an electrician for any size of job here’s the guy for you.
I have been trying for a year now to find someone within my client Bass to come and install another fluorescent light above my barber chair for light without shadows. I have many apprentice electricians and also a constant stream of new people who are trying to establish their business here in Nelson. Just like woody . Not one of them called me as promised to do the job except for Woody. I couldn’t believe my ears when he called me the next day and said he had found the exact match to my existing light. He came early the following day to install after work and of course it took longer than expected. Did he charge me for the extra time? No he did not. It was two hours extra. His price was very fair and he insisted on giving me a receipt so that I could claim it instead of only thinking of his own profit. He’s a self employed tradesman to. I have two matching lights now.

This is my industrial strength over table that I bought for my Dad when he was in hospital in Calgary dieing. First picture is of the exact same table and what it’s selling for in American money today.

No amount of water colours will stick. Let them do their crafting in tha living room while you are watching your favourite stuff.
Perhaps your parents are living with you and breakfast lunch and dinner are difficult. Pull up the table and adjust accordingly. How about just a perfect night stand next to your bed.?

Those darn secretaries.😂. It has two circular cut outs in the back and right side of the table frame for the typewriter cords to fit through.
