When clients walk through our doors, Chris is often the first person they see — and one of the reasons they immediately feel at home. Since joining the salon in 2017, she has become a trusted and valued part of daily salon life.

Known affectionately as the salon’s “work mum”, Chris keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes while ensuring every client feels welcomed, supported and looked after. Whether helping clients, supporting the team or solving last-minute problems, she’s the person everyone turns to — bringing reassurance, warmth and calm to even the busiest of days.

For many clients, Chris is one of those familiar faces who has helped make the salon feel like home over the years.

Jess joined us as an apprentice in 2019, excited to learn and determined to make the most of every opportunity. Since then, she has grown into a talented Senior Stylist whose journey perfectly reflects the power of hard work, dedication and belief in yourself.
 
From working backstage at both Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks to building confidence in her own skills, Jess has achieved so much in a relatively short time. Just as importantly, she now supports apprentices coming through the same journey she once began herself, sharing knowledge, encouragement and experience along the way.
 
Today, Jess is not only a talented stylist, but someone younger team members look up to, always willing to encourage, support and share what she’s learned.

Martina joined the salon in 2018 determined to continue developing her skills and push herself beyond her comfort zone. What began with a mixture of nerves and ambition has grown into a career defined by confidence, determination and a willingness to embrace every opportunity.

From specialist men’s hair system training to developing her technical colour expertise, Martina has continually challenged herself to learn, develop and grow. Along the way, she has become a trusted stylist, supportive colleague and someone who helps make the salon the welcoming, family environment it is today.

For Martina, the salon has always been about more than hair. It’s about the friendships, support and shared moments that bring the team together, something she contributes to every day through her positivity, loyalty and team spirit.

Since joining the salon in 2015, Rita has brought passion, creativity and ambition to everything she does. What began as an eagerness to learn has developed into an award-winning career that has taken her onto international stages.

From Art Team projects and TrendVision success to representing the UK internationally and winning, Rita’s achievements are a reflection of her outstanding talent, dedication and creative vision. Her beautifully blended balayage work continues to inspire both clients and colleagues alike.

Beyond the awards and accolades, Rita brings energy, ideas and enthusiasm to everything she does. Whether working with clients behind the chair or contributing to creative projects, she continually pushes herself and those around her to think bigger and aim higher.

When Reina joined the salon in 2017, she was excited, ambitious and ready to challenge herself. Since then, she has developed into one of our leading colour specialists, building a loyal client following and becoming known for both her technical excellence and creativity.
 
Her achievements include completing Wella’s prestigious Master Colour Expert programme with the highest score in her class and representing the salon at both Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks. These milestones reflect not only her talent, but her dedication to continually learning, developing and refining her craft.
 
Today, Reina is trusted by clients for her expertise, attention to detail and ability to bring their vision to life. The loyal relationships she has built over the years are a reflection of the care, professionalism and passion she brings to every appointment.
 
Beyond her talent behind the chair, Reina is a valued friend and teammate whose positivity, support and sense of humour help make the salon the special place it is.

Lauren has been part of the Joseph Ferraro Hair story since the very beginning. After training in York and gaining experience in a busy salon in Wetherby, she joined the team in 2011 and has remained a valued member of the salon ever since. Known for her warm nature and positive attitude, Lauren has become a familiar and happy presence in the salon for both clients and colleagues alike.

An experienced stylist with a natural flair for both classic and creative hairdressing, Lauren is known for her strong cutting and colouring skills. Throughout her career, she has continued to develop her craft through industry education and training, working alongside some of the leading names in hairdressing. Whether through her creativity behind the chair or the energy and positivity she brings to the team, Lauren has become a familiar and valued part of Joseph Ferraro Hair family.

Dan joined Joseph Ferraro Hair as an apprentice in 2015 with enthusiasm, ambition and a determination to learn. Eleven years later, he has grown into a Senior Stylist, educator and trainer whose journey embodies everything we believe in as a salon.

From working backstage at Paris Fashion Week and taking part in major industry events to mentoring the next generation of apprentices, Dan has continually embraced new opportunities while helping others do the same. His creativity, passion and commitment to developing his craft have taken him onto some of the industry’s biggest stages.

Karen has been part of this journey since 2007, long before Joseph Ferraro Hair became what it is today. Starting as a Salon Assistant, she has grown alongside the business, becoming the Salon Manager and one of the people who helps shape the experience clients and team members enjoy every day.

Over the years, she’s supported countless team members, watching nervous Saturday staff become apprentices, apprentices become stylists, and stylists build loyal client columns of their own. Her leadership, professionalism and unwavering support have helped create the positive culture that defines the salon today.

Many of the people who have grown their careers here have benefited from Karen’s guidance, encouragement and belief in them.

Over the years, we've watched apprentices become stylists, stylists become leaders, and colleagues become lifelong friends. Together, we've built more than a salon. We've built a team, a community and a place where people can grow, thrive and feel at home. ⁣
