So… welcome to Bring Your Baby To Work Day. Because when you’re self-employed, there’s no such thing as a day off when childcare falls through. There’s just “right, how can I do this with a baby attached to me?” 🤣

Emails with one hand. Treatments with the other. Baby snacks everywhere. And absolutely no idea what time you last had a hot drink.

Then I look at this little face and remember this is exactly why I started Hair & Holistics in the first place. ❤️

Not always glamorous. Not always organised. Definitely not always quiet.

But building something that allows me to be Mum AND do something I love?
I’ll take the chaos. 🥹🤍

Maybe from the outside it looks like I’ve got it all together.

My own business.
Six children.
A new studio.
A million things going on at once.

But behind the pretty treatment room and the Instagram posts, I’m still just a mum trying to keep everyone fed, happy and where they’re supposed to be 😂

Some days I absolutely smash it.

Other days… getting through the day feels like enough.

I’m learning that I don’t have to do everything perfectly to be proud of what I’m building.

If you’re another mum trying to build something whilst raising a family… I see you 🤍

Tell me I’m not the only one winging it.

Pregnancy massage isn’t just about having a sore back.

Sometimes it’s about having an hour where your body isn’t being asked to do anything.

No carrying.

No cleaning.

No chasing.

No organising.

Just being looked after.

And as a mum of six myself, I genuinely understand how precious that can feel. 🤍

Save this for later if you’re pregnant - or send it to someone who is.

❌ Rush someone off the treatment bed because I’m running behind.

❌ Make someone feel embarrassed about their body.

❌ Make a mum feel guilty for needing time away from her children.

❌ Assume that because you’ve booked a massage, you’re automatically having a relaxing day

And finally…

❌ Make someone feel like they’re just another appointment in my diary.

I want you to walk through my door and feel like you’ve actually been looked after…. Listened to!

Because there’s a big difference between having a treatment…

and genuinely feeling cared for.
