Coco Tier , aka Coconut tree in French is a universal life giving tree, rightfully known as the Kalpa Vriksha (Tree of life) in Hindu mythology, as every part of the coconut tree is useful to man kind. At Coco Tier, we would like to bring to you, coconut sugar which finds its way from our farm to your table with no processing and additives, prepared in the traditional methods adopted by our ancestors, with the support of modern technology and food safety standards of our times. Coconut Sugar is NOT made from coconuts! It is made from the nectar of the coconut tree blossoms

Coconut sugar has a natural caramel flavor. Unique flavor with a sweet fruity smell
Low Glycemic Index (A ranking of carbohydrate in foods according to how they affect the blood glucose levels). Food with GI value of less than 55 is good because it is digested, absorbed and metabolized slowly causing slower rise in blood glucose and therefore insulin levels. See for yourself:

The Use:
Coconut sugar can be used as a substitute for cane sugar in a 1:1 ratio.
1 tsp of white or brown cane sugar = 1 tsp of Coconut sugar
Great for baking, sauteing, Asian cooking and anywhere you use white or brown sugar today
Use as a replacement sweetener for brown cane sugar or jaggery in Indian sweets
Tastes great as a sweetener for beverages like tea, coffee, milk and hot chocolate
Ideal for children because of the low GI value which doesn't give the “sugar high” on consumption of sugar
Diabetics can replace white sugar with coconut sugar to help with better blood glucose control
