The Indian Dental Association, Rajkot, in association with EPIC Super Speciality Hospital, Ahmedabad and Horizon Cancer Associates, successfully conducted an insightful CME on Oral & Head and Neck Cancer Surgery on 22nd July, 2026 at RPJ Hotel Rajkot .

IDA Rajkot Branch, successfully conducted an enriching Continuing Medical Education program on Oral Cancer, sponsored by HCG Hospital, Rajkot on 16th July, 2026 at RPJ Hotel, Kalavad Road, Rajkot, 8:30 PM onwards

"Chai Pe Charcha & Microgreens" ☕🍃

IDA WDC successfully organized an event Chai Pe Charcha & Microgreens Workshop on 28th June 2026 at Teamax Cafe, Rajkot.

The event received an overwhelming response and was completely housefull, reflecting the enthusiasm of the participants. Members, along with their families and guests, enjoyed a refreshing morning of networking, wellness, and learning. The Chai Pe Charcha session encouraged meaningful conversations and strengthened professional as well as personal bonds. This was followed by an interactive Microgreens Workshop, where participants learned to grow nreceivedutrient-rich microgreens at home and a complimentary starter kit. A delightful breakfast further enhanced the spirit of fellowship and togetheûrness. The innovative concept and enthusiastic participation made the event a grand success, reaffirming IDA WDC's commitment to organizing unique and engaging activities for its members.

IDA Rajkot organized a vibrant Zumba Morning on 31st May 2026 at Rotary Lalitalay Hospital DPMC, Rajkot, in association with the Rotary Club of Rajkot Midtown. The session was conducted by the renowned Zumba expert Dr. Maddy.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from IDA Rajkot members, who actively engaged in the fitness session. The Zumba session was followed by a delightful breakfast, providing members with an opportunity for fellowship and interaction. The event was highly appreciated by the participants for its excellent organization and positive atmosphere.

*Cancer Colloquium on Cancer & Premalignant Conditions*

The *Indian Dental Association, Rajkot*, in association with *Marengo CIMS Hospital*, Ahmedabad, successfully organized an enlightening Cancer Colloquium on Cancer & Premalignant Conditions.
The scientific program featured eminent speakers who shared the latest advancements, clinical insights, and practical approaches in the early diagnosis and management of cancer and premalignant lesions.
The session proved highly beneficial for dental professionals, enhancing their knowledge and strengthening their role in the early detection of oral cancer.

The event was further graced by the esteemed presence of *Dr. Vallabh Kathiria*, whose encouragement and visionary leadership added great value to the program. His inspiring words motivated participants to remain committed to continuous learning and excellence in patient care.

The CME conducted by Dr. Brij Teli on the topic “Diabetes, Obesity, & The Dental Chair: A Clinical Masterclass” was a truly wonderful and enriching session. The program stood out for its strong relevance to day-to-day dental practice, offering practical insights that can be directly applied in patient care. Dr. Teli explained the complex interrelationship between diabetes, obesity, and oral health in a very clear and engaging manner. What made the session especially impactful was the use of numerous real-life, day-to-day clinical cases, which helped in better understanding and retention of the concepts. Overall, it was a highly informative and well-highlighted program that enhanced clinical awareness and confidence in managing such patients effectively.
