From battling Stage 3 cancer to becoming the reigning Mrs New Zealand 2026, Zeisha Wood’s journey is one of extraordinary courage, resilience and hope. 👑❤️

Her story, beautifully shared through her interview with Woman’s Day, is a powerful reminder that even through life’s most difficult chapters, we can find the strength to rise, rebuild and embrace life again.

After facing Stage 3 cancer and overcoming that challenging chapter, Zeisha now proudly carries the title of Mrs New Zealand 2026. And her journey doesn’t stop there. In June, she will take the New Zealand title to the world stage in California, representing New Zealand at Mrs Globe.

What makes her story even more remarkable is that she has continued to embrace so many beautiful roles in life. After giving birth to her second child, Zeisha continues to shine as a devoted mother, a wife, a successful DJ and now a national titleholder preparing to represent New Zealand internationally.

Her journey is so much more than a pageant story. It is a story of motherhood, survival, perseverance, purpose and the courage to dream again after adversity.

Zeisha is showing that a crown is not simply something you wear — it can represent everything you have overcome, everything you stand for, and the hope you carry forward.

From surviving cancer to motherhood, from the DJ booth to the national crown, and now onto the world stage — Zeisha’s story is truly one to be celebrated. 👑✨🇳🇿

What an inspiring journey to share with the world. ❤️

Thank you Woman’s Day!!

🤍 Thank you Woman's Day NZ and Jess Tyson for allowing me to share about my journey into motherhood and our two blessings 🥹🩵🩵

Next June I will compete in Mrs Globe International in California with Aperahama and a newborn (and my husband) at my side. Of course this will be challenging but a true testament to the gifts and roles I’ve been given.

By the grace of God, I will walk the stage with confidence and show that women are incredible and we can do anything we put our minds and prayers to. To represent Aotearoa, New Zealand internationally is such a privilege and I don’t take that for granted.
