𝗟𝗚𝗨-𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝟰-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸-𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺-𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲

Mayor Katkat Suan has issued Office of the Municipal Mayor Memorandum No. 38, Series of 2026, implementing the Four-Day Workweek and Work-from-Home (WFH) Scheme in the Local Government Unit of Allen as part of the municipality’s continuing efforts to improve operational efficiency, promote employee productivity and work-life balance, and reduce electricity consumption and operational costs.

Under the new work arrangement, municipal offices will operate from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while Fridays will be observed as a Work-from-Home (WFH) day for covered employees, enabling them to complete the required 40-hour workweek while remaining available during official government working hours.

The memorandum covers all officials and employees of the Local Government Unit of Allen, including regular and job-order personnel assigned in municipal offices.

Essential government services, however, will continue under their regular work schedules to ensure uninterrupted public service. These include the Municipal Health Office and other health-related services, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), and other frontline offices and personnel such as RCTMO, revenue collectors, garbage collection services, and field workers.

To strengthen the municipality’s energy conservation efforts, all offices are likewise directed to implement energy-saving measures, including the responsible use of lighting, air-conditioning units, office equipment, and other government resources.

The memorandum takes effect on August 3, 2026, and shall remain in force until amended or revoked by a subsequent directive from the Office of the Municipal Mayor.

The Philippine Statistics Authority's Northern Samar Provincial Statistical Office, alongside the Civil Registry Personnel Association of Northern Samar (CREPANS), held a Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) training session. Conducted by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in Lapinig, Northern Samar, the training aimed to secure online transactions and documents through digital encryption.

The two-day training of the Capacity Building and Development Training on Civil Registration Laws conducted on February 25-26, 2026 held at Ibabao Hall, Provincial Capitol, Northern Samar.

The training were facilitated by Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Headquarters, Registration Officer II Belen S. Centena, RO III Jazmin P. Dizon,Accountant III Rose A. Ballera and Atty. Harjade S. Dammang who shared their expertise and insights to help enhance the understanding and knowledge in civil registration laws of civil registry partners specifically Local Civil Registry Offices of Northern Samar.
