Happy 6TH ANNIVERSARY here at The Cutting Edge…. SIX years ago I open The Cutting Edge on my Mamaw’s birthday…. I would have never been able to do it without her! Mamaw at 89 years old painted the entire salon while I was working at the other salon! I am so grateful to her hard work in helping me so I can be able to take care of all my amazing clients!

Today was a fun day for me at The Cutting Edge…. Fun bright fashion colors!!! From beautiful cola reds to fashion pink and purple…. It was a fun filled day of clients creating their vision thru my hands…. What a blessing!!!! I love the fact that these clients first off trusted me to bring their vision alive and second that they are so carefree to express themselves through the art of HAIR!!! “THIS IS WHY I HAVE DONE WHAT I DO FOR 35 years… it’s because of my family’s and how they become a part of my life!!! I love watching them grow up and have their own vision of what they want for their hair. Yesterday Cub came in with so much excitement because he was get a shaved head with a Z in it ( aka lighting bolt) … He was so proud of himself!!!! Good morning Clients….. it’s that time of year again at “The Cutting Edge “ where we are collecting Monitory and gift donation’s for the elderly in Davie County …. The list are attached below for our recipients this year!!!! Our turn over date is coming up fast due to the late Thanksgiving this year! We have until Friday Nov 28 to collect what we can. Cindy Palmer Quate and Jewel Vanorsdale are more than willing to do any shopping needed. So this holiday season spread the joy and love however you can! When my “ Jade” girl comes in for a big girl haircut…. She has been in my chair since she was 2 years old and I love love it when I look on my book and see she is coming in that day!!! I love love having all my kid clients grow up in my chair…. “ I asked her if I was going to be cool enough to do her hair for her proms someday and her reply was “ I was cool now so she thinks I will be cool enough then😂😂😂” the honesty of the babies!!!!! Ms Cindy loves you big Jade!!!!
