The last two months have put my body through more than I ever expected.

Being pregnant.
Not being pregnant anymore.
Surgery.
And now experiencing postpartum-type symptoms… without getting to bring a baby home.

One of those symptoms has been the amount of hair I’m losing. The shedding has been REAL, and as a hairstylist, watching your own hair come out like this is hard.

And if I’m being completely transparent, through everything going on, I haven’t been taking care of my hair the way I normally do. I got lazy with my routine and stopped consistently using my MONAT products. I had run out of some things and was just using what random stuff I had in my bathroom closet.

So I’m going back to what I know works for my hair…my IR Clinical system, and I’m going to document the process.

I’m starting right where I am, shedding and all, and I’ll continue sharing updates as I get consistent with my routine again and see how my hair responds.

Sometimes life knocks us completely out of our routines in more ways than one. This is me starting to find my way back to mine. 🤍

Here’s to healthier hair, healing, and giving my body a little grace after everything it’s been through.
