The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued an AMBER Alert for Genesis Mills, a 12-year-old girl who was reported missing after she was last seen at approximately 6:25 p.m. on July 6, 2026, in the 20816 Loop 494 area of New Caney, Texas.
According to the alert, Genesis is described as:
Age: 12 Height: 5 feet 3 inches
Weight: 140 pounds Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown Gender: Female
She was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt and black shorts.
Authorities believe Genesis may be with an unknown adult male. The individual is described only as wearing a green long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and a blue Houston Astros baseball cap. No additional identifying information has been released.
Investigators are also searching for a white Ford Transit Connect van with multiple ladders mounted on the roof. The vehicle’s model year and license plate information are currently unknown.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation. Anyone who sees Genesis, the suspect, or the vehicle is urged not to approach them. Instead, call 911 immediately or contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at (936) 538-5900.
