Flyers PA Announcer Lou Nolan

In his long tenure calling Flyers home games, he has doled out official information during 8 different Stanley Cup Finals, 2 NHL All-Star Games, the 2002 Winter Olympics, the 2014 NHL Draft, and the 2014 NCAA Frozen Four, and the legendary friendly against the Soviet Red Army in 1976. In 1996, when the Flyers moved from the Spectrum, to their current home, the Wells Fargo Center, Lou came with them. Lou's PA style is passionate, yet professional and accentuates and is a major part of the Flyers home game experience. Perhaps his most famous call is "And the Flyers are going on the Pecoooooo Power Play", despite it being only a recent introduction by the Flyers. The Flyers have lifted the Cup with Lou behind the mic, he has called such great names as Clarke, Barber, Parent, Schultz, Propp, Kerr, Lindbergh, Hextall, LeClair, Lindros, Richards, Carter, and many more.
