Every freckle appointment starts with a pre-map so we can look at placement, balance, and overall density before anything is tattooed. From there, I vary the size, saturation, and spacing to keep the pattern from feeling too uniform or intentional.
And one of the most important things to remember: what you see immediately after your appointment is not the healed result. Fresh freckles will appear more noticeable at first and soften as the skin heals.

Microblading, up close. 👀
Can you tell the difference between the microbladed strokes and the natural eyebrow hairs?
Microblading allows us to create incredibly fine, individual strokes that follow the direction and movement of the natural brow hair. Pigment is implanted superficially into the skin, creating the appearance of additional hairs rather than a solid block of color.
From a conversational distance? Hair strokes.
A little context for this close-up: these strokes were created as part of a brow tattoo correction, so there is pre-existing pigment beneath the microblading. On untreated skin, individual strokes typically have even more visual separation, creating a softer, airier effect.
Microblading isn’t the right technique for every brow—or every skin type. A consultation allows us to look at your skin, existing pigment, natural hair pattern and desired result before recommending a technique.

Makeup inspo, but make it cosmetic tattooing. 💄
These are three lip color families I’m loving for Fall 2026—mauve, terracotta tan, and peachy nude—using some of my favorite M·A·C Cosmetics shades as the color reference.
Why makeup references? Because sometimes it’s much easier to communicate a color when you can actually see it, swatch it, and recognize it. From there, I customize the lip blush according to your natural lip color, skin tone, undertone, and how we want the color to heal.
My current references:
Mauve — Mehr + Whirl
Terracotta Tan — Warm Teddy + Spice
Peachy N**e — Kinda Sexy + Subculture
The goal isn’t to tattoo a lipstick shade onto your lips. It’s to take inspiration from the colors you already love wearing and translate them into something softer, more natural, and made specifically for you.

Can you see the heart-shape? (Fresh freckles, 1st session)
The heart freckle was created from a natural freckle she had, and added pigment around it to create a heart-like shape. She wanted it to look as natural as possible, and we'll be able to further refine the shape at her touch-up appointment. 🥳

She wanted her freckles to remain on the bridge of her nose, and blend softly onto her cheeks. Created a few beauty marks around her eyes and forehead to tie everything together nicely. ✨

When it comes to cosmetic tattooing, multiple factors will dictate how your freckle tattoo will eventually heal, age, and appear in color. And our expertise is knowing exactly what to look for to help cut out the guesswork.
Which is why we work in multiple sessions: we build your freckles up, not attempt to stamp them on. 😉 And as you can see above, the old freckle tattoos were done in one session and not-so complementary in color.
