Samoa Business Hub was pleased to participate in today's Green Banking & Sustainable Finance Workshop, organised by the Central Bank of Samoa in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The workshop brought together financial institutions and business support organisations to strengthen knowledge of sustainable finance, climate risk management, and green lending practices. These discussions are essential in advancing greater access to finance and supporting resilient, sustainable growth for Samoa's Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
We thank the Central Bank of Samoa and United Nations Development Programme for facilitating this valuable initiative.

Samoa Business Hub is pleased to share an exciting opportunity from the British High Commission through the Commonwealth Startup Fellowship—a fully funded programme designed to help high-potential early-stage businesses grow, innovate, and scale internationally.
Delivered by Imperial College London Enterprise Lab and funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, this prestigious fellowship equips entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills, mentorship, and global connections needed to accelerate business growth.

This is a fully funded fellowship, meaning successful applicants:
✔️ Do not pay any programme fees
✔️ Do not need to repay the funding
✔️ Are not required to sign a bond or commit to returning service after completing the programme

Through the Government of Samoa Entrepreneurship Facility (GSEF), the Government of Samoa is helping grassroots, start-up businesses, and existing MSMEs access affordable finance to strengthen, expand, and invest in their future. Samoa Business Hub is proud to deliver this support alongside business development services that help turn opportunities into long-term success.
Our first spotlight features Potoae, a passionate mixed farming and piggery entrepreneur from Manase Savaii, whose business has benefited from GSEF support. Through access to affordable financing and ongoing business guidance, she has been able to improve her farming operations, expand her activities, and continue supplying quality produce and livestock to her community.
