LET’S TALK SIS WITH MILLIE & NALU 🤎

GOD’S FAITHFULNESS RESTORES US

Psalm 106:24–48

Sis, Psalm 106 reminds us of something we sometimes forget: we can fail, become afraid, doubt, complain, compromise, and even make the same mistakes again — but God remains faithful.

The Israelites saw the challenges ahead and forgot the God who had already brought them through so much. Fear became louder than faith.

And honestly, sometimes we do the same.

We look at our circumstances, our finances, our children, relationships, responsibilities, and unanswered prayers, and we begin to wonder, “Will God really come through for me?”

But Sis, don't let what you see make you forget what God has said.

Psalm 106 also reminds us about compromise. The Israelites allowed the influences around them to draw them away from God.

That speaks to us, too.

We must be careful about what we allow into our hearts, our homes, and our children's lives. What we repeatedly tolerate can eventually become what we accept as normal.

And then there was Moses — a man of God who became frustrated and allowed his emotions to affect his response.

Even strong people get tired.

So, if you have been overwhelmed lately, don't condemn yourself. Pause. Pray. Give your frustration to God before it controls your response.

But perhaps the most beautiful part of this Psalm is this:

Even after Israel repeatedly failed, God still heard their cries.

Their failures did not cancel God's faithfulness.

Their mistakes did not make God stop loving them.

Their past did not prevent Him from restoring them.

SIS, REMEMBER:

You may have stumbled, but God is still calling you back.

You may have made mistakes, but your story is not over.

You may have lost your way, but you can return to God.

You may feel tired, but His grace is sufficient.

Don't run away from God because you feel unworthy.

Run back to Him because He is merciful.

Let's be women who don't just cry to God when we are in trouble, but women who allow Him to transform our hearts, our choices, and our lives.

Let's Talk.
Let's Heal.
Let's Rise.
Together.

🤎 PRAYER

Lord, thank You for Your unfailing mercy and faithfulness. Forgive us for the times we

LET’S TALK SIS — TODAY’S REFLECTION

Psalm 106:1–23 — Remember His Faithfulness

Sis, today’s scripture reminds us of something so important: we must never forget what God has already done.
Israel had seen God perform miracles. He rescued them from Egypt, made a way through the Red Sea, and provided for them. Yet, when another difficult moment came, they quickly forgot His faithfulness.
How often do we do the same?

We remember the problem in front of us but forget the battles God has already brought us through. We remember what we are waiting for but forget what He has already provided.

Sis, don’t let today’s struggle make you forget yesterday’s miracle.

Psalm 106 also reminds us to be careful of comparison, jealousy, and allowing anything to take God's rightful place in our hearts. When we keep our eyes on others, we can become dissatisfied with the journey God has given us.

And then we see Moses standing in the gap for the people. What a beautiful reminder of the power of intercession.

So today, let’s choose to:
Remember what God has done.
Choose gratitude over complaining.
Trust Him when we can not see the way forward.
Stay in our lane and stop comparing our journey.
Keep God first in every area of our lives.
Pray for one another and never stop interceding.

Sis, your current situation is not the whole story. God has been faithful before, and He will remain faithful.

Let’s take a moment today and name three things God has brought us through.

Sometimes, remembering His goodness is exactly what our hearts need to find faith again.

🙏🏽 Prayer:
Lord, help us never to forget Your goodness and faithfulness. When we are afraid, remind us of the times You made a way. When we become discouraged, remind us of how far You have brought us. Keep our hearts grateful, our eyes fixed on You and our hands, ready to pray for others. May we always remember that You are good and Your love endures forever.
Amen.

“Remember what He has done.” — Psalm 105

Sis, Psalm 105 reminds us of something we can easily forget when life gets difficult: God has been faithful before, and He will remain faithful.

The Psalm tells the story of a God who remembered His covenant, protected His people, carried them through difficult seasons, raised Joseph from the pit to a place of purpose, and eventually brought Israel into the promise He had spoken.

Joseph’s story reminds us that a painful season is not necessarily a wasted season. The pit was not Joseph’s destination. The prison was not his ending. God was still working, even when Joseph could not see the bigger picture.

And maybe that is where some of us are today.
You may be waiting for an answer.
You may be rebuilding your life.
You may be praying over your children.
You may be trusting God for provision, healing, direction, restoration or a new beginning.

Psalm 105 encourages us to remember.
Remember the doors God opened.
Remember the times He provided when you didn't know how things would work out.
Remember the battles He brought you through.
Remember the prayers He answered.
Remember the strength He gave you when you thought you couldn't go on.

Your current situation may not look like the promise, but God has not forgotten you.
Sis, don't allow today's uncertainty to erase yesterday's testimony.

The God who carried you then is still carrying you now.
So today, instead of only asking, “Lord, when will things change?” let us also say:

“Lord, thank You for how far You have brought me.”
We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we know WHO holds tomorrow.

Let's continue to trust, pray, encourage one another and walk in obedience.
He is still writing our stories. And our current chapter is not the end.

Let’s Talk. Let’s Heal. Let’s Rise Together.

With love,
Millie & Nalu

Good morning, ladies
HEART CHECK | Psalm 139:23–24

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

This scripture is such a powerful invitation to pause and allow God to examine what is happening inside us.

Sometimes we are so focused on what is happening around us; the relationships, the disappointments, motherhood, finances, work, unanswered prayers and the things we are waiting on God to change that we forget to ask Him what He wants to change within us.

David knew that God already knew his heart, yet he still prayed, “Search me.”
In other words: Lord, I give You permission to go into the places I may not even want to confront myself.
Search my motives.
Search my fears.
Search my insecurities.
Search my reactions.
Search my unforgiveness.
Search my anxiety.
Search the wounds I have learned to hide behind a smile.
And then he says, “Lead me.”
Because the purpose of God revealing something in us is not to condemn us, it is to transform us and lead us into something better.
Sometimes, the breakthrough we are praying for begins with a heart check. Before asking God to change our situation, perhaps we should also be brave enough to pray;
“Lord, is there anything in me that needs to change?”

As women, mothers, sisters, friends, and daughters of God, may we never become so comfortable with who we are that we stop allowing God to work on who we are becoming.

So today, ladies , our prayer is simple:
Lord, search me. Know my heart. Reveal what needs healing, remove what does not belong, correct what needs correcting, and lead me in Your everlasting way. I surrender my heart, my thoughts, my choices, and my future to You. Amen.

PEACE IN THE WAITING

“The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever"

Psalm 138:8
Sis, one of the hardest things about single motherhood is feeling like everything rests on your shoulders.
The children.
The bills.
The decisions.
The future.
The unanswered questions.
The things you wish you could fix but simply can not.

But today, Psalm 138:8 gives us permission to rest.
God says He will perfect that which concerns us. That means the things keeping you awake at night are not hidden from Him. God sees you. He sees your children. He sees the gaps. He sees the needs. He sees the future you can not yet see.

And because His mercy endures forever, we don't have to live constantly stressed about how everything is going to work out.
Some answers may not come the way we imagined. Some doors may open from places we never expected. Some things God is arranging quietly, long before we see the evidence.
Our responsibility is not to have everything figured out.
Our responsibility is to trust Him.

So, Sis, breathe. Do what you can today and entrust tomorrow to God. There is peace in knowing that you are not raising your children alone. There is a Father who sees, provides, guides, and goes ahead of you.
What looks unfinished today is still in God's hands.

He will perfect that which concerns you. His mercy endures forever. 🤍
There is nothing that God can not do, repent, and trust Him to perfect ALL that concerns you.

Balancing work and raising children as a single mom is one of the most demanding roles a person can have. The goal isn’t to do everything perfectly—it’s to create a rhythm that allows your children to thrive while protecting your own well-being.

Here are some practical strategies:

1. Accept that priorities will change daily. Some days work will need more attention, while other days your children will. Success is learning to adjust without feeling guilty.
2. Create simple routines. Children feel secure when they know what to expect. A consistent morning routine, homework time, dinner, and bedtime reduce stress for everyone.
3. Involve your children. Give age-appropriate responsibilities like packing school bags, setting the table, or tidying their rooms. It teaches responsibility and eases your workload.
4. Plan your week. Spend 20–30 minutes each weekend planning meals, school activities, work commitments, and errands. A little planning saves hours during the week.
5. Protect family time. Even if you’re busy, make time for small moments—a shared meal, reading together, praying together, or a 15-minute conversation before bed. Children often remember these moments more than expensive outings.
6. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Trusted family members, friends, neighbors, or your faith community can provide support when you need it. Accepting help is a sign of wisdom, not weakness.
7. Take care of yourself. You can’t pour from an empty cup. Make time for adequate sleep, healthy meals, exercise, prayer or reflection, and occasional rest.
8. Let go of perfection. Your home doesn’t have to look perfect, and every meal doesn’t have to be elaborate. Focus on what matters most: a loving, stable environment.

When you run a business

If you’re self-employed, involve your children when appropriate. They can help with simple tasks, see your work ethic, and understand why you’re working. It also teaches them valuable life skills.

Dealing with guilt

Many single mothers feel guilty for working long hours. Remember that providing for your children is also an act of love. What they need most is a parent who is emotionally present when they are together, not someone who is available every minute.

A faith perspective

As Christian parents faith is important , remember that God doesn’t expect you to carry every burden alone.

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)

Praying with your children, even for a few minutes each day, can strengthen both your family bond and your resilience.

Being a single mom means wearing many hats, but your children don’t need a perfect mother—they need one who loves them, shows up consistently, and keeps moving forward even on difficult days. Those everyday acts of faithfulness make a lasting difference.
